Royal Jordanian is committed to conducting its operations within the requirements of the Laws regarding safety. It ensures that a safe, hazard-free environment prevails throughout its areas of operation, for both employees and customers, by meeting or exceeding all flight, occupational, and environmental health and safety standards.
The management considers safety as the number one priority for the airline, and is committed to minimizing the possibility of accidents by implementing a safety program provided by the Corporate Safety and Security Department.
This Department is responsible for the overall management of the Safety Program. All levels of Royal Jordanian's supervisory staff are accountable for implementing the Program's requirements and for ensuring that each and every employee can recognize and control hazards and have all the training and equipment needed to safely perform their individual tasks. In the interests of safety, full, free and uninhibited reporting of any incident that may affect safety is required, and it is the responsibility of the airlines employees to co-operate fully throughout any investigation that may be conducted by or under the authority of the Executive Assistant Corporate Safety.
