The All New RJ Crown Class

Traveling while Pregnant
Women* with complication-free pregnancies can fly up to their third trimester, but should consult their doctors/medical practitioners before traveling, especially on long haul flights. When traveling on Royal Jordanian, pregnant women in their third trimester (within four weeks of their expected delivery dates) must have a certified medical report specifying the expected date of delivery and stating their ability to travel. Such clearance should be issued within seven (7) days prior to commencement of travel.

Once onboard, and to minimize discomfort:

  • Wear the seat belt low around the pelvis.
  • Walk around the plane at regular intervals.

Consume plenty of water throughout the flight and avoid eating heavy foods which, through prolonged immobility, can lead to stomach cramps and pain.

*Air travel is not allowed for Women within the last seven days prior to confinement and within the first seven days after.
