| Royal Jordanian Cargo doubles its freighter capacity to London |
|
Starting in late October, Royal Jordanian Airline (RJA) will add a weekly freighter service to London Stansted Airport. This flight will supplement the current weekly freighter operation into London Heathrow. President/CEO Samer Majali commented, "We are delighted to expand our air freight operations to the United Kingdom. This new service is a key component of our expansion strategy in Northern Europe."
The new flight will serve Stansted on Wednesday mornings, providing strong trucking connections to and from continental Europe. Royal Jordanian also operates a daily wide-bodied passenger flight to London Heathrow, providing high frequency capacity for lower-deck freight..
Geoffrey Weston, Vice President - Cargo, added, "The UK is an important and growing market for us and our customers have been clear that they want more options from the UK. Our cargo volumes have increased strongly since last year and we are keen to connect the Levant with the United Kingdom."
