Positive 3rd Quarter Growth for Royal Jordanian Cargo
Third quarter revenues for Royal Jordanian Cargo were up 9% compared to third quarter of 2005; passenger flight cargo revenues grew 6% while the freighters showed a robust 12% growth.

President/CEO Samer Majali commented "These are welcome results, given the substantial increase in air freight capacity we have seen in the region."

Majali added that Royal Jordanian Cargo will soon be announcing its freighter winter schedule, which will include several new destinations in the Middle East. Consolidated into one entity earlier this year, Royal Jordanian's Cargo division has recently been strengthened by the addition of several senior level staff to its management.

"We are excited by the momentum we are generating in the region," said Geoffrey Weston, Vice President - Cargo, "as well as our investment plan in the warehouse and our new freighter routes, we are focusing on customer service levels."
Weston also pointed out that Royal Jordanian Cargo is currently implementing substantial investments in the refurbishment of the cargo warehouse at Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA). The first phase of this project, the largest investment at the facility in over twenty years, is due for completion in early 2007.
