Caring for Your Bags
Royal Jordanian’s ground handling services are designed to get you and your luggage safely to your destination. Our team is dedicated to caring for your personal items, and takes great care to ensure it is returned to you in the same condition you give it to us. If there is damage to any of your luggage when traveling or shipping with us, we will do all we can to quickly and efficiently compensate you for this.
If your checked baggage does not arrive on your flight, please file a report with our Baggage Services Counter located at the Arrival Hall, prior to customs clearance. We will make every effort to return it to you as soon as possible and deliver it to an address of your choice free of charge within 24 hours of its arrival at their final destination.
A maximum of USD $100 (JOD 71) will be paid for each passenger who receives their baggage damaged beyond a state of repair, dependent upon the type and brand of bag.
Items Missing From Baggage
The amount of compensation for items reported missing from baggage upon arrival at your final destination will be based on the difference between the weight shown on the baggage claim check at the station of origin, and the actual weight received at destination. The weight discrepancy will be multiplied by USD $20 (JOD 14), taking into consideration Royal Jordanian’s limited liability for items that are not acceptable in passenger baggage
such as: fragile or perishable items, money, jewelry, precious metals, silverware, negotiable papers, securities or other valuable business documents, passports, etc.
