Jordanian Children Under 18

The following Jordanian children, under the age of 18 years, are not permitted to depart Jordan without the official^* consent of their father:

• Children accompanied by their non-Jordanian mother: whether holding separate passports or listed on their mothers.
• Children accompanied by their Jordanian mother and listed on her passport.
• Children traveling in the custody of a relative other than their mother.

Jordanian children accompanied by their mother and holding separate passports from hers are permitted to travel without the permission of their father.

^*A father’s approval must be officially attested to by the Police or Governor.
