oneworld® is the most innovative of the global alliance in developing fares that offer real added value to customers., with highly attractive prices and great flexibility in fact.
oneworld offers a wider range of alliance fare and sales products than any of its competitors. And most oneworld fares also earn frequent flyer points and miles.
The ten oneworld® member airlines work together to provide you with a range of products which make global travel easier and more rewarding. Whether travelling for business or leisure, we are confident you will find the right product for your regional adventure or around-the-world journey.
Because of the huge choice of routeing possibilities, bookings for all of them, with the exception of oneworld Explorer, cannot currently be made on-line - but via any oneworld member airline or travel agent worldwide. The oneworld Explorer Round-the World ininerary can now be booked conveniently from your home or office on-line at oneworld.com.
oneworld Explorer: One of the most popular, simple, flexible and inexpensive round-the-world fares available in the market. Prices are based on class of travel and, uniquely, the number of continents visited - rather than mileage of the overall trip. This keeps planning as simple as possible. A useful “itinerary planner” and booking tool for oneworld journeys is available on oneworld.com
Global Explorer: Another round-the-world fare, but also including some airlines which are not part of oneworld, extending the choice of destinations further. Unlike oneworld Explorer, the cost of Global Explorer tickets is based on the total distance flown, rather than the number of continents visited.
Visit Passes: Eight different multi-sector flights on any combination of oneworld carrier within a specific continent. They offer an inexpensive way to travel around a region. oneworld is the only alliance to offer this sort of pass covering all six continents. Prices are based on the number of sectors selected and the length of each sector.
Circle Explorer (or Circle Indian Ocean): Similar to oneworld Explorer, but does not require travel to North or South America, so you can fly halfway around the globe and then back again, without actually circumnavigating the planet (for example London-Hong Kong-Sydney-Johannesburg-London).
Circle Pacific: Another Explorer variant, this time for trips around the Pacific Ocean, covering Australia/NZ, Asia and North and South America.
Circle Asia & South West Pacific: This fare offers great value and flexibility for multi-continent journeys circling this part of the world. This is an ideal option if your travel originates and terminates in Asia, or South West Pacific. Fares are based on the total mileage of the journey and the class of travel.
Circle Atlantic: The oneworld Circle Atlantic takes you on a grand tour between Europe, South America and North America, for one price. Available in First Bussiness and Economy cabins, this fare is based on total mileage travelled and country of sale.

oneworld's Frequent Flyer Benefits
No matter which oneworld airline’s frequent flyer program you belong to, you will find that the rewards and privileges of membership have been greatly enhanced.
More miles and points: Members of any oneworld airline’s frequent flyer programme can earn tier status miles and points on eligible flights that are both marketed and operated by any of the alliance’s carriers - and redeem rewards across that wider network.*
More rewards and recognition: Top tier frequent flyers enjoy many of the privileges that their status entitles them to, across all oneworld airlines. Qualifying flights will also count towards the maintenance or advancement of membership tier status.
* American Airlines AAdvantage and British Airways Executive Club members can earn and redeem miles, and earn tier status credit, on all eligible flights except:
- American Airlines AAdvantage members will not earn or redeem miles or earn tier status credit on British Airways flights between the USA and the UK and vice versa. AAdvantage miles and top tier status credit may be earned though miles may not be redeemed on all American Airlines codeshare services operated by British Airways when the booking is made under the AA code.
- British Airways Executive Club members will not earn or redeem miles or earn tier points on American Airlines transatlantic flights. British Airways' miles and tier points may be earned though miles may not be redeemed on all British Airways codeshare services operated by American Airlines when the booking is made under the BA code.
How Tier Status is Recognized Across the Alliance
oneworld offers more opportunities for members of Royal Plus Program to earn and redeem frequent flyer awards and benefit from their tier status - including, for top tier members, more airport lounges to use during their travels.
Because oneworld member airlines all have different names for the top three membership tiers in their frequent flyer programs, the alliance has created a tier of names, based on gemstones, that are common across all oneworld airlines:
- Emerald denotes the highest tier in any program.
- Sapphire denotes the second tier.
- Ruby denotes the third tier.
To help staff easily recognize top-tier members and identify the benefits to which they are entitled, top tier membership cards issued by all oneworld airlines carry a oneworld gemstone symbol in the appropriate color.
You can plan your oneworld® trip anywhere - at home, at work, or even en route. The oneworld downloadable timetable offers quick access to the most current flight schedules from oneworld's 12 member airlines when you are away from the Internet.
