1) Video Magazines
Royal Jordanian shows two video magazines every month which are produced exclusively by our Entertainment Section. Both magazines are bilingual (Arabic and English) and one-hour each in duration.

• Royal Wings Magazine : This is the outbound video magazine, the primary language of which is English, and the secondary is Arabic.
• Jordanian Skies Magazine : This is the inbound video magazine the primary language of which is Arabic and the secondary is English.

Both magazines offer lively and colorful entertainment and include cartoons, comedy, movie previews, and a documentary feature on Jordan.

2) Feature Films (main screen)
The Entertainment section supplies four monthly Hollywood movies with the very latest releases and best content. Movies shown on the main screen are edited to suit the sensitivities of all our passengers.

3) Main Screen Short Subject Programs
Main screen short subject programs are shown after the feature films in accordance with their designated sectors and aircraft types, as reflected in the Entertainment Guide or as shown by our cabin crews.

Just For laughs / Farfasha
This is a silent comedy feature introduced on short flights, such as Beirut / Cairo / Damascus and Larnaka, where no headset facilities are available to passengers. The main aim of this program is to raise the entertainment standards on these flights.

Main screen Hindi Movie
This Hindi movie is shown immediately after the Hollywood movie, and only on Bombay, Delhi and Colombo flights.

Main Screen Arabic Movie/Arabic Play (with English Subtitling when available)
This Arabic movie/play is shown after the second Hollywood movie on all A340 aircraft flying to North America and the Far East only.

CNN Program
Royal Jordanian shows two versions (long & short) of the CNN program. The shows are especially tailored for Royal Jordanian and feature five top brand programs with global focus, including Inside the Middle East, Art of Life and Revealed .

Air Show
The Air Show is a cabin video information system that gives flight-related information such as outside air temperature, ground speed, time to destination, etc. This service is offered on all Airbus aircraft.

Royal Jordanian offers its passengers eight audio channels (4 in Arabic and 4 in English):

• Channel 9 Holy Quran

• Channel 12 Alhan (Arabic composed music)

Channel names and numbers are subject to change from time to time.

Crown Class Personal Television on A340 Aircraft
The selection of movies that have been carefully chosen for Crown Class onboard the A340 aircraft can be viewed from the personal high resolution liquid crystal display (LCD) screens attached to each seat. This service features up to 14 movies on the basis of 6 outbound and 6 inbound films, not including the main screen program.

Crown Class Personal Video on A340, A310, A320 and A321 Aircraft
The Personal Video service is only available for Crown Class passengers flying on A340, A310, A321 and A320 aircraft that are not equipped with the Audio Video On Demand (AVOD) system. The PV service is provided on flights of approximately three hours duration and more. The PV library is bi-monthly in cycle and is made up of 17 titles, 11 of which are Hollywood movies with a variety of genres such as comedy, drama, family, etc. The remaining 6 titles are 4 Arabic movies one of which is classical (Black & White), one Arabic Play, one Hindi movie and one Arabic video magazine show.

The above are always subject to changes and enhancements in terms of content and quantity. Movies available for the PV are subjected to less strict editorial requirements, due to the fact that passengers are given a choice of viewing options. Movies for this service are listed in our In-flight Entertainment Guide ‘Sky Cinema', which includes movie synopses, casts, and ratings.

Audio Video On Demand (AVOD) on A321 and A320 Aircraft
The AVOD system is a digital platform offering the best quality of audio, video and gaming. This system is available to all passengers (J/C & Y/C) on aircraft that are equipped for this service. The passenger is presented with an attractively branded graphical User Interface to access all programs.

In-flight Entertainment (IFE) Guide Royal Jordanian's state-of-the-art IFE guide, Sky Cinema, contains operating instructions, audiovisual and gaming availability. The guide is offered by the cabin crew to the passenger together with the PV unit, or it placed in every Crown Class seat pocket on the AVOD equipped aircraft. The guide also provides invaluable information about the movies, such as synopses, casts, duration and ratings.
