Royal Jordanian suspends its flights to Baghdad

Amman, January 3, 2020- Royal Jordanian Airlines decided to halt its services betweenAmman and Baghdad, effective January 3, 2020 and until further notice, in light of the security situation in the city and at Baghdad International Airport.

 

Royal Jordanian explained that its other flights to the rest of the Iraqi cities: Basra, Erbil, Najaf and Sulaymaniyah are operating normally as scheduled.

 

Royal Jordanian operates 18 weekly scheduled flights between Amman and Baghdad.

Royal Jordanian commits with IATA to enhance environmental sustainability

Amman, Nov. 6, 2022: Royal Jordanian signed an agreement with IATA to join a large number of airlines that are now using the IATA Environmental Assessment Program (IEnvA). This sustainability program will be a key tool for RJ to achieve sustainability in all air and ground operations. Globally, (IEnvA) is used by airlines, aircraft maintenance services, on-board catering services and ground handlers to enhance environmental sustainability.
