Journey Back in Time

Add a special touch to your stopover by visiting the old city of Salt, the former capital of Jordan. An ancient town, Salt was once the most important settlement in the area between the Jordan Valley and the Eastern Desert, making it a significant place for the region's many rulers.

Visit the House of Abu Jaber, which is one of the oldest houses in city, and has now been transformed into a museum. Then you can proceed to the Hamam Street, where you will find various traditional shops. Visit the Old English Hospital and then pass by one of the local houses in Salt to have a cup of traditional tea.

After that you can enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, and then head back to the airport for departure.
