Travel Policy

 

In response to the Government announcement to resume our operation on 8 September,2020, and because your health comes first. We are offering extra flexibility for passengers.

 

Flexible options are provided to passengers affected by the flight suspensions when Sales Validity between 1 January 2019 – 31 December 2020 and Travel Validity between 17 March 2020 - 31 December 2020

 

Reservation Date Change:

  • Reservation date change penalties will be waived if the flights are cancelled due to airport closure.
  • 5% discount on the difference in fare will be applied.
  • Passengers can request to re-validate their tickets on any date before 31 December 2020, but the processes of the re-validation should be done on/before 31 December 2020

Voucher (EMD):

Offering you more flexibility to fly with us again, we have now more options for passengers choose from:

  • Travel voucher (Good for travel) valid for two years from day of issuance.
  • Refundable Voucher valid for one year from day of issuance.
  • Voucher/EMD value can be used by the passenger’s family members (consent to be submitted when requesting this option).
  • Refund can be processed according to your country law, if not available RJ’s ticket terms and conditions apply.

  • For passengers holding tickets with point of sale (IL) and affected by flight suspensions due to the COVID 19 epidemic. RJ will make the relevant refund within 90 days from the day stipulated in the flight ticket, or until October 1, 2020, whichever latest.

Jordan Entry Requirement

In response to the government announcement to resume passenger’s commercial flights, and for a smooth less complicated travel experience. Following the updated travel procedure to help you plan your upcoming business or personal trip to Jordan.

 

  1. Visit https://www.gateway2jordan.gov.jo to complete the required form and to obtain the QR code which is mandatory for boarding (Not required for children under 5 years old)
  2. Have PCR test with a negative result within 120 hours before departure (Not required for children under 5 years old)
  3. Another PCR test is required upon arrival
  4. Install (AMAN Mobile Application) on mobile phone
  5. Submit Passenger Health Declaration and Locator Form
  6. Have a valid Health Insurance is required for Non – Jordanians
  7. (7) Days self-quarantine after negative PCR test, for passengers arriving from all countries.
  8. Any passenger gives falsified or incorrect information is subject to a fine of 10,000 JD.
  9. Effective 17 November 2020, all arriving passengers from Turkey must provide PCR test from Accredited Labs Only. Click here to learn more about accredited labs

International Transfer Passengers are not allowed at Jordanian Airports 

 

Passengers travelling to Jordan for Medical Tourism through “Salamtak Platform” are exempted from the following conditions provided that they hold a letter issued from Private Hospitals Association:

 

Diplomats and Employees of Regional and International Organizations (and their dependents and family members holding special or/and regular passports) residing in Jordan have a special QR code for Diplomats and are exempted from the following conditions:

  • Provide PCR test with negative results before the flight
  • Conduct PCR test upon arrival Jordan
  • Provide Valid Health insurance.

 

Passengers holding “Investor Card” category (A,B), Investor Passport or Investor Residence and their families are allowed entry into Jordan provided that they are holding PCR test with negative result within 72 hours before departure ONLY (Passengers will conduct PCR test upon arrival without registering on Visit Jordan website).



Global Entry Regulations

Restricted Passengers - Visa upon arrival and all types of visa

Exempted Passengers:

Citizens and holders of valid residency.

Passengers whose eligible for Visa upon arrival AUH Airport.

PCR Test- Required, maximum 96 hours from the time of test from any laboratory accredited by the state of departure, or from any labs that incorporate with purehealth in UAE mentioned on website(https://screening.purehealth.ae/application ), Passengers must have a printed hard copy of the test result (No Handwritten Reports).

Children under 12 and passengers with moderate to severe disabilities are exempt from PCR test.

All passengers arriving from Jordan will have undergo PCR test upon arrival to Abu Dhabi.

All passengers will be asked to sign a consent form at immigration counter for self-quarantine measures for (14 days).

All passengers are required to download ALHOSN app for tracking purposes.

Health Insurance - Required.

Form shall be filled before travelling.

PCR Requested for all passengers 72 hours prior arrival except children’s less than 06 years.

As an exception, PCR test issued before 96 hours prior arrival from the following countries (New Zealand, Australia, Japan, China, Thailand, North & South America, Canada, London, Paris, Frankfurt, Rome)

PCR Not required for transit passengers in Cairo Airport

Type of test (RT-PCR) should be mentioned

Passengers must have a printed hard copy of the test result (Hand written PCR is not accepted).

Health Insurance before travelling - Not required

Form must be filled out by all passengers.

Restricted Passengers -

Passengers that are on visas from Iran, China, UK, Schengen countries, or Brazil need to quarantine outside those countries for at least 14 days prior to their entry into USA.

Passengers holding ESTA visas.

Exempted Passengers - US citizens and LPR are exempt quarantine

PCR test before travelling - not required

Health Insurance before travelling - not required

Restricted Passengers - All passenger’s travelling from countries not mentioned below in “Exempted Passengers”, and those who are not holding approved return permit from Qatar Portal.

Exempted Passengers:

  • Qatari Nationals
  • Passengers holding permanent resident and other exception visa holder
  • Passengers travelling from the following low risk countries, provided that they hold a special return permit (Brunei Darussalam, Thailand, China, New Zealand, Vietnam, Malaysia, South Korea, Cuba, Hungary, Finland, Latvia, Italy, Norway, Estonia, Lithuania, Greece, Slovakia, Ireland, Germany, Slovenia, Japan, Denmark, Cyprus, United Kingdom, Canada, Turkey, Poland, Austria, Algeria, Netherland, Iceland, France, Croatia, Switzerland, Morocco, Australia, Belgium, Portugal, Czechia, Sweden, Uruguay).
  • Companions of the GCC citizens travelling to the State of Qatar will be granted immediate entry visa upon arrival, and will be accepted to enter under the following conditions: 1- The Companion (house workers, or other similar companions) should be accompanied by the GCC citizens or one of their first degree direct family members. 2- The GCC country residency permit of the companion should be valid for at least six months. 3- The travel document of the companion should be valid for a period not less than the validity of the entry visa. 4- The Occupation mentioned in the travel document of the companions must be “house workers” or other related occupation. 5- Payment of the applicable visa fees (QAR 100 ). Companions shall be quarantined with their sponsors according to the MOPH regulations for quarantine, ( Home quarantine for passengers arriving from Green Countries, and Hotel Quarantine for passengers arriving from other countries).

For Qatari Nationals for home quarantine

Guest below 18 years arriving DOH alone (UM/YP) may go for home quarantine despite of holding EEP (exceptional entry permit) stating HOTEL quarantine.

 

Exempted Passengers:

Holder of ICA approval, holders of return permit, visit & resident visas and visa upon arrival.

GDRFA approval for Dubai Issued residence visa on https://smart.gdrfad.gov.ae/Smart_OTCServicesPortal/ReturnPermitService.aspx.

ICA eligibility registration for other emirates issued visas on https://smartservices.ica.gov.ae/echannels/web/client/guest/index.html#/residents-entry-confirmation

Tourists with valid visa or visa on arrival are not required to get any approvals from GDRFA or ICA.

Passengers holding Visit & Tourism Visas are required to hold a valid round trip ticket from the country of origin.

Transiting at DXB are required to follow the last destination requirement.

 

PCR test before travelling:

Required from all passengers including passengers transiting DXB from Jordan, maximum 96 hours from the time of test from any laboratory accredited by the state of departure, or from any labs that incorporate with pure health in UAE mentioned on website(https://screening.purehealth.ae/application), Passengers must have a printed hard copy of the test result (No Handwritten Reports).

 

UAE citizens are exempted from PCR test before travelling, only upon arrival DXB.

Children under 12 and passengers with moderate to severe disabilities are exempt from PCR.

All passengers arriving from Jordan will have undergo PCR test upon arrival to DXB.

All passengers are required to fill the Declaration Form before arriving Dubai, in order to be submitted to immigration staff.

 

 

 

Restricted Passengers - third-country nationals arriving from out of Schengen area

Exempted Passengers:

  • Passengers residing more than six months in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, Uruguay.
  • For China, Japan & South Korea a lifting of entry restrictions is subject to confirmation of reciprocity.
  • German nationals and nationals from other EU countries, countries associated with Schengen (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland) and the United Kingdom;
  • Third-country nationals with a valid residence permit for Germany;
  • Family members of third-country nationals travelling to Germany for the purposes of family reunification or for visits for urgent family reasons;
  • Healthcare professionals, health researchers and elderly care professionals;
  • Foreign experts and highly qualified personnel whose work is necessary from an economic point of view and which cannot be postponed or carried out abroad;
  • Transport personnel engaged in haulage of goods and other transport staff;
  • Seasonal workers in agriculture;
  • Sailors;
  • Foreign students whose studies cannot be continued entirely from outside Germany;
  • Persons in need of international protection or seeking protection for other humanitarian reasons;
  • Diplomats, staff of international organizations, military personnel and humanitarian aid workers in the exercise of their functions;
  • Late repatriates;
  • Passengers in Transit.
  • Passengers arriving from Jordan are obliged to go directly their home or other suitable accommodation immediately after their return and to stay there permanently for a period of 10 days Germany.

PCR test before travelling:

All travelers returning from high-risk areas (Jordan) must be tested either no more than 48 hours prior to flying or free of charge 10 days after arriving in Germany. Free tests are available in two testing centers located right at the airport on the pedestrian bridge connecting Terminal 1 and the long-distance train station. Unless they have tested negative for Covid-19, passengers arriving from high-risk countries must immediately quarantine themselves at home or their final destination for two weeks.

Health Insurance before travelling - not required.

Declaration Form should be submitted. Passenger Locator Form which will be collected by Federal Police at Immigrations (passenger shall fill his/her address in Germany not the origin address).. Also, passenger shall be handed out with “Info flyer” sheet.

Restricted Passengers - Passengers traveling from the following countries (India, Brazil and Argentina) including any person who has been in any of the mentioned countries above in the last (14) days prior to their arrival to KSA. Passengers holding Tourist visa

Exempted Passengers:

  • Saudi Citizens, their (Non-Saudi) companions, their Non-Saudi Spouse and children are allowed entry into KSA at their own expenses on the repatriation flights operated by countries to evacuate their citizens from KSA (All Non-Saudi companions mentioned must have valid (Iqamah) in KSA.
  • GCC citizens
  • Non-Saudi passengers holding a valid visa (Exit/Entry, Residence-Iqamah and Visit)
  • Passengers traveling from (India, Brazil and Argentina) and have official government invitations.
  • Passengers with “premium Residency” and their families with an exit and return visa to KSA and to give notice to the passenger to pay the renewal fee upon arrival.
  • Members of diplomatic missions accredited to KSA and their families.

PCR test before travelling:

  • All Non-Saudis must submit a negative PCR test results from a verified laboratory abroad, and it must be done no later than 72 hours before the scheduled departure to the KSA.
  • PCR test is limited to Non-Saudi only who are over the age of (8) years

Health Insurance before travelling - Not required

All passengers must submit their filled and signed form to the health control center upon arrival at airport.

 

Restricted Passengers:

Non Kuwaiti passengers travelling from the following countries (Afghanistan, India, Iran, China, Brazil, Colombia, Armenia, Bangladesh, Philippines, Syria, Spain, Bosnia, Herzegovina, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Iraq, Mexico, Indonesia, Chile, Pakistan, Egypt, Lebanon, Hong Kong, Italy, North Macedonia, Moldova, Panama, Peru, Serbia, Montenegro, Dominican Republic, Kosovo, Argentine, France and Yemen) unless they have settled in those unlisted Countries for a period of 14 days at least, after the 14 days they must conduct a (PCR) test for (COVID-19) virus and provide an approved certificate proving a negative result and not being affected with (COVID-19)virus, validity of such certificate, should not exceed (96) hours between the test date and arriving date to Kuwait.

Exempted Passengers:

- Kuwaiti citizens, first relative’s degree of Kuwaiti citizens

- All resident whom left Kuwait from 01/09/2019 are allowed to return to Kuwait provided that they have valid Kuwaiti residency, regardless being outside Kuwait for more than six months.

PCR test before travelling:

Required, valid up to 96 hours (Children under the age of 06 years old are exempted)

 Restricted Passengers: Passengers travelling from countries designated under category C (Countries not mentioned in category A & B).

Exempted Passengers:

  • Passengers travelling from category A countries can arrive in Cyprus without a PCR test: Australia, Japan, New Zealand, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand
  • Passengers travelling from category B countries can arrive in Cyprus by downloading their PCR test on website 72 hours prior to their travel: Germany, Denmark, Greece, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Sweden, Finland, United Kingdom, Norway, Vatican City, San Marino, Uruguay, China (including Hong Kong), Rwanda, Serbia
  • Only the following passengers are permitted to travel from countries of category C (Jordan):

1. Cypriot citizens, permanently residing in the public of Cyprus and their family members (Foreign spouses, their minor children and their parents.

2. Persons legally residing in the Republic of Cyprus

3. Persons allowed to enter in the Republic of Cyprus under the Vienna Convention

4. Persons regardless of nationality having a special permission by the Republic of Cyprus, as defined under the infectious Diseases (Determination of Measures against the spread of the COVID-19 Coronavirus disease) Decree (N.30) as amended.

Transiting via LCA is allowed (Up to 24 hours)

PCR test before travelling.

Minors under the age of 12 do not require COVID-19 test.

For Category B+C exempted passengers they have the option of either arranging themselves a COVID-19 test 72 hours before their travel to the Republic of Cyprus or having this test which amounts to 60 euros, performed upon their entry to the Republic of Cyprus, on their own expenses. In the case where they choose to have the test performed upon their entry to the Republic of Cyprus, they will remain until the test results are completed, at a place designated by the Republic of Cyprus for as long as is necessary until the test results are completed and they will pay the costs for the test.

Restricted Passengers - Discretionary Visitor (Not allowed except joining parents or families)

  • Citizens

  • Study permits if not approved yet but letter of confirmation from Canadian embassy
  • Passenger holding student/work visa is required to have the following:

a. Student visa must be issued before 18 Mar 2020, and passenger will be quarantine for 14 Days.

b. Clearance letter from Liaison office of Embassy of Canada from departure country.

c. Recent letter from respective school for opening date of school.

d. Holder of work visa must have clearance letter from liaison office of Embassy of Canada in departure country.

  • Visitors

Only following category of passengers holding visit visa can enter Canada (Immediate family members i.e. Parents and children of Canadian Citizen/P. R Card holders ONLY).

- U.S Citizens from AMM connecting to USA

U.S citizens arriving from AMM for essential traveling are accepted only to transit USA. They will report to Canadian immigration, pickup their bags, clear from Canadian customs and go to US Re-check area for their respective Airlines (But cannot leave Airport terminal building and in case of delay, passengers must stay at Marriot hotel at Airport with maximum of 24 hours transit time.

Effective 21st Nov 2020, Before check-in each passenger should submit the information needed through ArriveCAN application or through their website Canada.ca/ArriveCAN, and the application will give an ArriveCAN receipt. Staff must check the ArriveCAN receipt of each passenger before check-in at the airport and deny boarding of any passenger if non-compliant.

 

 

Restricted Passengers -

-Passengers that are on visas from Iran, China, UK, Schengen countries, or Brazil need to quarantine outside those countries for at least 14 days prior to their entry into USA

-Passengers holding ESTA visas.

Exempted Passengers - EU citizens, Schengen states, Andorra, Monaco, North Ireland, England, Marino, Vatican State, Health Personnel, Diplomatic, International Organizations, Humanitarian workers, absolute urgency, returning to one's home, domicile, dwelling, passengers having work permit for a maximum stay of 5 days must hold a return ticket.

PCR test before travelling - Not required.

Health Insurance before travelling - Not required.

Declaration form should be submitted.
