Jordan Entry Requirement

 

 

Jordan entry regulations are changing frequently. Make sure to review the following requirements for most recent information before you travel.

 

Before you travel:

- All Passengers are required to visit https://www.visitjordan.gov.jo portal prior to departure, complete the required form, and obtain the QR code which is mandatory to be presented prior to boarding and upon arrival.

- All Passengers must have a negative PCR test conducted within 72 hours prior to departure from the first boarded flight (Egypt, Turkey, Iraq only PCR tests from approved labs should be accepted).

- Submit Passenger Health Declaration and Indemnity Online Filling Form or by Downloading the form before boarding.

Exemption:

  • Children under the age of 5 years.
  • Fully vaccinated Jordanian passengers residing in Jordan where 14 days have passed since their last dose, provided that the period between the travel and return date to Jordan does not exceed 10 days.

 

PCR test required upon arrival:

  • PCR test is mandatory upon arrival for all passengers and each passenger has to register and pay amount of 28 JOD through the https://www.visitjordan.gov.jo portal

Exemptions include:

  • Fully vaccinated passengers, subject to the fulfillment of Vaccinated passengers regulations.
  • Children under the age of 5 years.


 

Fully Vaccinated Passengers:

  1. Vaccinations certificates proving that full course of vaccination has been completed issued from the following countries are approved: (Australia, Bahrain, Canada, China, EU Countries, Japan, Jordan, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Liechtenstein, Malaysia, Morocco, New Zealand, Oman, Qatar, Russia, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, Tunis, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and USA).
  2. The vaccination certificate shall be in the Arabic or English language only and presented to airline personnel prior to boarding.
  3. Passengers shall submit a Health Declaration at the counter before boarding either manually using the attached form or electronically using the following link https://hdf.rj.com

  

Health Insurance: 

  • Proof of health insurance is mandatory for non-Jordanians.
  • Medical Tourism Patients are exempted.

 

 

Diplomatic passengers

  1. Diplomatic QR holders (Diplomats and Employees of Regional and International Organizations (and their dependents and family members holding diplomatic passports, special passports, or regular passports) have a permanent diplomatic QR code that its validity does not expire, and it is possible to return with this code to Jordan for several trips are exempted from:
  • PCR test before departure and upon arrival
  • Health insurance.

 

 

 

Transit Passengers: allowed at Jordanian Airports as follows:

  • PCR test required 72 hours prior to the scheduled time of departure.
  • The planned transfer time is not exceeding 10 hrs.

 

The following shall be applied on passengers travelling to Aqaba (King Hussein International Airport):

  • Passengers shall hold vaccinations certificates proving that full course of vaccination has been completed (Minors are exempted from providing vaccination certificate or PCR test if holding a proof that their both parents have full course of vaccination), or
  • Hold a proof that 21 days have passed after the first dose of covid-19 vaccination, or
  • Hold a negative PCR test which was conducted within 72 hours prior to the departure time from the first embarking airport.
  • The vaccination certificate shall be in the Arabic or English language only and presented to airline personnel prior to boarding.


Notes

  • Diplomatic QR holders (diplomats and employees of regional and international organizations (and their dependents and family members holding diplomatic passports, special passports, or regular passports) have a permanent diplomatic QR code that its validity does not expire, and it is possible to return with this code to Jordan for several trips are exempted from:

- PCR test before departure and upon arrival

- Health insurance.

  • Any passenger gives falsified or incorrect information is subject to a fine of 10,000 JOD.

  1. Central Laboratories of the Egyptian Ministry of Health.
  2. Reference Labs (Ain Shams Hospital).
  3. AlBorg Labs.
  4. Almokhtabar Labs.
  5. Armed Forces Medical Research and Blood Bank.

 

 

Global Entry Regulations

Travel Policy

 

We are offering extra flexibility for our passengers. Flexible options are provided to passengers affected by the flight suspensions when Sales Validity between 1 January 2019 – 31 October 2021 and Travel Validity between 17 March 2020 - 31 October 2021

 

Reservation Date Change:

  • Reservation date change penalties will be waived if the flights are cancelled due to COVID-19.
  • 5% discount on the difference in fare will be applied.
  • Passengers can request to re-validate their tickets on any date before 31 Dec 2021.


Voucher (EMD):

Offering you more flexibility to fly with us again, we have now more options for passengers choose from:

  • Travel voucher (Good for travel) valid for two years from day of issuance.
  • Refundable Voucher valid for one year from day of issuance, and applicable on all classes except the non-refundable classes.
  • Voucher/EMD value can be used by the passenger’s family members (consent to be submitted when requesting this option).
  • Refund can be processed according to your country law, if not available RJ’s ticket terms and conditions apply.
