This information is subject to change based on each country restrictions. Travelers are responsible to confirm with the embassy or consulate of their country of transit or final destination, they are travelling from, to receive updated information for entry regulations. 

Restricted Passengers: 

  • All non-EU citizens are prohibited from entering the Hellenic Republic.
  • All individuals travelling to Greece must complete an e-PLF – latest one day before their arrival

 

Exempted Passengers:

  • Citizens / Permanent Residents of Australia, Canada, Georgia, Japan, Morocco, New Zealand, Rwanda, South Korea, Thailand, Tunisia, Uruguay and the United Arab Emirates are permitted to enter the Hellenic Republic.
  • Family members of EU citizens
  • Citizens of Schengen member states and their family members
  • Passengers travelling for essential reasons, including health issues, business purposes, imperative family reasons, persons in need of international protection.
  • Healthcare professional and health researchers designated to support the Hellenic national healthcare system.
  • Third-Country citizens who are long-term residents of hold a residence permit of an EU or Schengen member state.
  • Third-Country government members, Diplomats, Staff of International Organizations, Military personnel and humanitarian and workers in the exercise of their duties, Students, Highly specialized personnel, essential to the function of the state.
  • Passengers in transit
  • Non-EU or Non-Schengen citizens travelling for imperative family or business reasons provided that the relevant authorization has been obtained by the Hellenic consulate.

 

PCR test before travelling:

All individuals entering Greece by plane from Bulgaria, Romania and United Arab Emirates are obliged to present NEGATIVE MOLECULAR TEST (PCR) conducted up or 72 hours before arrival.

Passengers must have a certificate with the above diagnosis in English, which includes the name and passport /ID number. Airlines are required to verify this certificate. In absence of this are required to prohibit passenger boarding. In case of violation of this obligation, passengers will be repatriated at the airline’s responsibility and expenses.

All passengers shall contact Thai Embassy in order to register and confirm all necessary requirement as following:

  • Certificate of Entry (COE) from Thai Embassy
  • Fit to fly Health Certificate/Fit to travel Health Certificate

Medical Certificate with a laboratory result indicating that COVID-19 is not detected by RT-PCR test valid within 72.hrs priority to travel

Health insurance coverage 100,000. USD for medical care in Thailand (exempt Thai Nationality)

Confirmation of state quarantine/alternate state quarantine (SQ/ASQ) hotel for first 14days during stay in Thailand (SQ/ASQ hotel list from Thai Embassy/Consular)

PCR test before travelling shall be valid maximum 72 hrs. before travel date

Health Insurance before travelling shall be valid

Form shall be filled before travelling applied and registered through Thai Embassy/Consular

 

  • Jordanian nationalities (only those whom are having valid residency visa into Egypt, visits are not allowed for any reason). 
  • Egyptian Nationalities only.
  • No other nationalities can board the flight from Amman to Cairo.
  • For the Jordanian passengers, a negative PCR test result issued not more than 72 hours prior to arrival is required to enter Egypt, this is applicable only to non-Egyptians as no need for PCR test for Egyptians.
  • Form should be filled at the check-in counters and to be kept with passengers, as same will collected by Cairo quarantine upon arrival.
  • No quarantine after arrival.

Countries of Low Risk Factor

  • Passengers arriving from low risk countries mentioned below are accepted on board flights heading to Hamad International Airport, and must be informed about the following:
  1. Passengers will be required to do a PCR test upon arrival to airport.
  2. Sign a commitment for one-week self-quarantine.
  3. Passenger will proceed to one of the accredited health centers by the end of the one-week self-quarantine to the test result, passengers will then follow the rest procedure published on the Ministry of Public Health website.
  • Passengers will be exempted from doing the PCR test upon arrival to the Airport in case he is carrying a (COVID-19) Disease-Free certificate from an accredited medical Center from the country of his departure, provided that the date of this certificate do not exceed 48 hours prior to the travel time, then rest of above mentioned procedure to be followed.

Brunei Darussalam- Vietnam- China- Thailand- Malaysia- New Zealand- Malta- Finland- Hungary- South Korea- Estonia- Norway- Lithuania- Latvia- Japan- Cyprus- Ireland- Greece- Italy- Slovakia- Denmark- Netherlands- Germany- Morocco- Poland- France- Australia- Canada- Slovenia- Belgium- United Kingdom- Czech- Austria- Switzerland- Algeria- Turkey- Iceland- Spain- Croatia- Andorra.

 

Other Countries

  • Which are other countries not included in the low risk list and do not have accredited medical centers for COVID-19 test.
  1. Passengers arriving from such countries are accepted on board flights heading to Hamad International Airport, and must be informed about the following:
  2. To book a quarantine Hotel for week through “Discover Qatar” website, before arriving to the state of Qatar.
  • Passengers will do a PCR test on day six of the Hotel quarantine, and according to the test result, passengers will then follow the rest procedure published on the Ministry of Public Health website.
  • Passengers will be exempted from doing the PCR test upon arrival to the Airport in case he is carrying a (COVID-19) Disease-Free certificate from an accredited medical Center from the country of his departure, provided that the date of this certificate do not exceed 48 hours prior to the travel time, then rest of above mentioned procedure to be followed.

 

Qatari Nationals, their spouses, their husbands, their children, and holders of permanent residency holders

 

  • They can freely travel and return at any time, provided they are following the above-mentioned instructions according to the country they are coming from.
  • Passengers subject to the above-mentioned condition of Hotel-quarantine will be exempted from bearing the cost of the hotel, in case they are having overseas medical treatment at state expenses, same as their registered companions, as well as officials on duty travels, since their sponsors will duly bear the hotel cost.

 

Residents

  • They will be allowed to return to state of Qatar effective the 1st of August 2020, by getting a Return Permit through” Qatar Portal”.

 

Passengers requiring self-quarantine (Home Quarantine)

  • Ministry of public health had identified categories of passengers that are requiring self-quarantine, regardless of the country of arrival, these categories are published through the Ministry of Public Health website.
  • For more information regarding self-quarantine, or Hotel Quarantine, as well as names of the accredited medical centers for COVID-19 test overseas, you can refer to the Ministry of Public Health website.

 

All passengers arriving to Qatar are required to Install “EHTERAZ” application on their mobile phones.

 

 

Restricted Passengers:

  • Passengers travelling from Australia, Georgia, Canada, New Zealand, Thailand, Tunis, Uruguay
  • For China, Japan & South Korea a lifting of entry restrictions is subject to confirmation of reciprocity.
  • This list of countries is to be regularly updated. The question of whether travel to Germany is permitted depends on where the person travelling has previously been staying, not on their nationality.
  • German nationals and nationals from other EU countries, countries associated with Schengen (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland) and the United Kingdom;
  • Third-country nationals with a valid residence permit for Germany
  • Family members of third-country nationals travelling to Germany for the purposes of family reunification or for visits for urgent family reasons;
  • Healthcare professionals, health researchers and elderly care professionals;
  • Foreign experts and highly qualified personnel whose work is necessary from an economic point of view and which cannot be postponed or carried out abroad;
  • Transport personnel engaged in haulage of goods and other transport staff;
  • Seasonal workers in agriculture;
  • Sailors
  • Foreign students whose studies cannot be continued entirely from outside Germany;
  • Persons in need of international protection or seeking protection for other humanitarian reasons;
  • Diplomats, staff of international organizations, military personnel and humanitarian aid workers in the exercise of their functions
  • Late repatriates
  • Passengers in Transit.

Restricted Passengers: All Non-HK residents

Exempted Passengers: All HK resident, and SEMN passenger given that they could provide COVID-19 test result with negative.

PCR test before travelling:

  • Passengers who were in the following countries (United States, Kazakhstan, Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines and South Africa) for the past 14 days are required to produce additional documentation/ proofs before acceptance as following:
  • Certificate from lab with passenger ID and verify passenger tested negative within 72 hours before STD
  • Original lab report
  • Certificate from local government recognizing the lab
  • Hotel booking of 14 days in HKG upon arrival

If any conditions specified by the Secretary is not met in relation to any relevant traveler on the conveyance, each of the operators of the conveyance commits an offence, and is liable on conviction to the maximum penalty of a fine at level 5 ($50,000) and imprisonment for six months.

If a traveler coming to Hong Kong fails to comply with a requirement to provide information, or knowingly or recklessly provides any information that is false or misleading in a material particular, he or she is liable on conviction to the maximum penalty of a fine at level 3 ($10,000) and imprisonment for six months.

All nationalities can enter and transit Istanbul out of Amman without any requirement.

 

Effective 05th of August 2020, passengers are permitted to enter Jordan without the need of mandatory quarantine, provided that they have resided in the following countries and regions (Austria, Canada, China, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Georgia, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Malta, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland, Taiwan and Thailand ) for the last 14 days and meet the following requirements:

  • Have a PCR test with a negative result maximum 72 hours before departure (Not required for children under 5 years old)
  • Have a valid Health Insurance that covers COVID-19 treatment for the whole period of the intended visit (This condition does not apply to Jordanian Nationality).
  • Complete and submit Passenger Health Declaration and Locator Form
  • PCR test is required upon arrival to Jordan
  • Install (AMAN Application) on mobile device
  • Complete the Electronic Application on the following link and receive acceptance QR code minimum 24 hours before flight https://www.visitjordan.gov.jo/
  • Passengers are responsible for the accuracy of the provided information. Passengers who fail to provide correct information or give a falsified information will be subject to a fine of 10,000 Jordanian Dinar.

Restricted Passengers - Foreign National

Exempted Passengers:

  • Passengers holding Permanent Resident (PR), Diplomat and Long-Term Pass (Spouse) – KPI (Ketua Pengarah Immigration) NOT required unless it’s a new application or Expired Pass
  • Expatriate and Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) Pass Holder provided they are granted approval from Director General of Immigration (Ketua Pengarah Immigration)
  • Other Long-Term Visit Pass Holders (Visa with Reference) – (Resident Pass, Temporary Work Visit Pass (PLKS), Professional (Ikhtisas) Visit Pass, Student Pass, Dependent Pass for Short Term Visit Pass Holders 

PCR Test – Not Required.

Health Insurance – Not Required.

Upon arrival: Passengers are required to update their current health status for our health officials to verify during screening procedure

 

Restricted Passengers: Passengers travelling from countries designated under category C (Countries not mentioned in category A & B).

Exempted Passengers:

  • Passengers travelling from category A countries can arrive in Cyprus without a PCR test:
  • Austria, Canada, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Japan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Malta, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Republic of Korea, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland.
  • Passengers travelling from category B countries can arrive in Cyprus by downloading their PCR test on website 72 hours prior to their travel:
  • Algeria, Andorra, Australia, Belgium, Bulgaria, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Georgia, Italy, Monaco, Morocco, Netherlands, Ruanda, San Marino, Spain, Thailand, Tunisia, Uruguay, Vatican City
  • Only the following passengers are permitted to travel from countries of category C (Jordan):

1. Cypriot citizens, permanently residing in the public of Cyprus and their family members (Foreign spouses, their minor children and their parents.

2. Persons legally residing in the Republic of Cyprus

3. Persons allowed to enter in the Republic of Cyprus under the Vienna Convention

4. Persons regardless of nationality having a special permission by the Republic of Cyprus, as defined under the infectious Diseases (Determination of Measures against the spread of the COVID-19 Coronavirus disease) Decree (N.30) as amended. Passengers have to conduct a test confirming negative PCR for COVID-19 during the last 72 hours before their travel to the Republic of Cyprus and possess a certificate which confirms negative PCR for COVID-19 issued from a certified laboratory

PCR Test - Required before travelling for passengers travelling from category B & C countries.

Health Insurance – Not Required.

Restricted Passengers - Discretionary Visitor (Not allowed except joining parents or families).

Study permits if not approved yet but letter of confirmation from Canadian embassy

Passenger holding student/work visa is required to have the following:

  1. Student visa must be issued before 18 Mar 2020, and passenger will be quarantine for 14 Days.
  2. Clearance letter from Liaison office of Embassy of Canada from departure country.
  3. Recent letter from respective school for opening date of school.
  4. Holder of work visa must have clearance letter from liaison office of Embassy of Canada in departure country

Visitors

Only following category of passengers holding visit visa can enter Canada (Immediate family members i.e. Parents and children of Canadian Citizen/P. R Card holders ONLY).

U.S Citizens from Amman connecting to USA

U.S citizens arriving from Amman for essential traveling are accepted only to transit USA. They will report to Canadian immigration, pickup their bags, clear from Canadian customs and go to US Re-check area for their respective Airlines (But cannot leave Airport terminal building and in case of delay, passengers must stay at Marriot hotel at Airport with maximum of 24 hours transit time.

All arriving passengers must be Quarantine for 14 days at their residence, If CBSA officer was not satisfied then he will ask the passenger to go to any hotel recommended by Canadian Government on passenger expenses for 14 days Quarantine.

PCR Test – Not Required.

Health Insurance – Not Required.

Restricted Passengers:

All third countries citizens including Jordanian, and passengers coming from Armenia, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Brazil, Bosnia, Herzegovina, Chile, Kuwait, North Macedonia, Moldova, Oman, Panama, Peru, Dominican Republic, Serbia, Kosovo, Montenegro

Exempted Passengers:

EU citizens, Schengen states, Andorra, Monaco, North Ireland, England, Marino, Vatican State, Health Personnel, Diplomatic, International Organizations, Humanitarian workers, passengers having work permit for a maximum stay of 5 days must hold a return ticket.

Form shall be filled before travelling and to be handed over to Health authority upon arrival

 

Restricted Passengers:

Third-country nationals arriving from out of Schengen area are not allowed to enter Switzerland. The ban on entry for foreign national who want to travel to Switzerland from a high-risk country (Jordan is currently considered as a high risk country) for a stay up to three months, without working, that would normally not require a permit, i.e. primarily tourists, persons visiting family or friends, or on business. High risk countries are any country that are not in the Schengen area.

PCR Test – Not Required.

Health Insurance – Not Required.

Form shall be on A5 size paper to those landing in CH. Same must be collected before landing and handed over to RJ staff on arrival.

 

  • All passengers (citizens, residents, tourists and transit passengers) are require to obtain a negative COVID19 certificate maximum 96 hours from the time of test from approved labs (In Jordan =Biolabs), list of approved labs listed on the website (https://screening.purehealth.ae/application ).
  • Visitors and Visa upon arrival needs International health insurance. 
  • Children under the age of 12 and children with moderate to severe disabilities are exempt from PCR.
  • For Dubai only, all passengers arriving from following 31 countries will undergo another test upon arriving Dubai in addition to prior PCR test:

Restricted Passengers:

  • Third-country nationals arriving from out of Schengen area are not allowed to enter Austria. (visa free nationals and visitors with C visa)
  • Operators are obliged to collect contact details of passengers if departure point is Albania, Bangladesh, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Chile, Ecuador, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Iran, Kosovo, Mexico, Montenegro, Nigeria, North Macedonia, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Peoples Republic of China – Province Hubei, Portugal, Moldova, Romania, Russian Federation, Sweden, Senegal, Serbia, South Africa, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom or USA.
  • Details to be collected:

• ID of persons (full name, date of birth and nationality),

• Original place of departure,

• Departure and arrival time,

• Border crossing point for entry into Austria,

• Total number of people carried and

• Transport code number.

Data has to be stored for 28 days after arrival and made available immediately to Health Authorities on their request.

Exempted Passengers:

1. Persons who are citizens as well as their family members living in the same household or (habitual) residents of one of these countries AND who are arriving from one of these countries AND who have only been to these countries or in Austria within the last 14 days are free to enter Austria (no molecular-biological SARS-CoV-2-test, no quarantine): Andorra, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Vatican.

2. Members of diplomatic missions and staff of international organizations as well as family members of these people living in the same household

3. Humanitarian workers, nursing and health personnel.

4. Seasonal workers in the agricultural and forestry sector as well as tourism.

5. Cargo-transport workers.

6. Foreigners having a Visa D published by Austria, a documentation of the foreign police act (Fremdenpolizeigesetz), a documentation of the right of residence under the Settlement and Residence Act (Niederlassungs- und Aufenthaltsgesetz) or the Asylum Act (Asylgesetz),

7. Austrian citizens and persons subject to health insurance in Austria or having a promise of treatment issued by an Austrian hospital for medical reasons worth considering plus one accompanying person.

PCR test before travelling:Not a must; passenger can do the following:

1. Make the PCR test before departure not older than 4 days, attached (Medical Certificate Form) which shall be filled along with the PCR test, or

2. Make the PCR test upon arrival at Vienna airport, or

3. 14 days home quarantine. can be free to go if a PCR test have been done during the 14 days home quarantine.

 

Health Insurance before travelling:Not required, persons subject to health insurance in Austria or having a medical treatment promise issued by an Austrian hospital for reasons that are worth considering

(Entry and Transit Declaration Form) should be filled and ready before arriving to the passport control in Vienna.
