Transportation To & From Qaia

Travel between Amman and Queen Alia International Airport is an effortless portion of the trip for Royal Jordanian passengers.

Queen Alia International Airport's (QAIA) location makes many of the country's most popular destinations easily accessible to Royal Jordanian passengers. A number of options for going between QAIA and the cities and sites of Jordan are available.

Royal Jordanian passengers can take advantage or our City Terminal Shuttle service. We operate our own buses, departing every 30 minutes, between QAIA and our City Terminal conveniently located near 7th Circle. From here travelers can reach any area of Amman and bus terminals to offering transport to the rest of Jordan via taxi or public transport (see the distance chart below for more details on getting to and from Amman to other cities around the country). The City Terminal Shuttle service costs JOD 2 (USD $2.82) per passenger.

The QAIA Airport Taxis provide all passengers arriving at QAIA a comfortable, affordable and reliable option to Amman and other key cities. You will find the Airport taxi kiosk and administrator waiting outside the Arrivals hall main exit.

Public transport buses run regularly from in front of both QAIA Terminals, clearly marked and easily found. QAIA is situated along the main highway connecting Aqaba in the south with Amman and other northern destinations, making it easy for those with a rental car waiting for them upon arrival to head directly to their final location.
