RJ and Tamatem sign agreement to provide in-flight and lounge gaming experience for passengers

Amman, Jan 5, 2022 - Royal Jordanian and Tamatem Inc., a Jordanian based leading mobile games publisher in the region, sealed a contract to launch in-flight games on RJ flights, aiming to enhance passengers' experience onboard.

RJ Vice Chairman/CEO Samer Majali and Tamatem founder/CEO Hussam Hammo signed the agreement, whereby Tamatem will integrate several games on RJ’s wireless inflight entertainment system – SkyConnect, and set up arcade machines, tablets, and charging stations in the Crown Lounge at Queen Alia International Airport.

Majali expressed satisfaction with such partnerships, through which RJ both exercises its corporate social responsibility by lending support to pioneering Jordanian companies as well as takes part in the scalability of innovative Jordanian companies.

Royal Jordanian Hosts Meeting of the Executive Committee of the Arab Air Carriers’ Organization in Amman

Amman, Sept. 13, 2022 – Today, on September 13, 2022, Royal Jordanian hosted the ninety-second Executive Committee meeting of the Arab Air Carriers’ Organization in Amman, by kind invitation of Eng. Samer Majali, Vice Chairman and CEO of Royal Jordanian. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Mohamed El-Hout, Chairman of the Board - Director General of Middle East Airlines and Chairman of AACO’s Executive Committee, with the participation of the following members of the Executive Committee: Mr. Tony Douglas, Group Chief Executive Officer - Etihad Aviation Group, His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker, Group Chief Executive - Qatar Airways, Mr. Abdelhamid Addo, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer - Royal Air Maroc, His Excellency Eng. Royal Jordanian apologizes to its passengers for some flight delays

Royal Jordanian apologized to its passengers for any delay that may occur during these days on some of its flights, in light of the current heavy passenger traffic, shortage of personnel working at airports and global ground handling companies, and the spread of the Omicron virus, with which many of RJ crew members are tested positive. Meanwhile, the airline is working relentlessly and within its capabilities to send crew members to the stations that are affected by this delay.
