Amman, June 9, 2019 -- An RJ Airbus 319 flew in the Jordanian sky this evening, in celebration of the 20th anniversary of His Majesty King Abdullah’s Accession to the Throne, which is marked today.

The RJ aircraft, along with the Royal Jordanian Air Force, performed an attractive air show in the Amman skies, as well as all over the kingdom.

Jordanians expressed happiness on this national occasion and admiration for the spectacular air show; the Royal Jordanian plane had on its belly a huge Royal Accession logo that was executed by RJ’s Engineering and Maintenance Department.

The airline also placed the Royal Accession logo on a number of its aircraft, especially the 787s, that will proudly display it in the world skies and land at the world's largest airports that are on RJ's route network.

On behalf of the Royal Jordanian family, RJ President/CEO Stefan Pichler extended his congratulations to His Majesty King Abdullah II on this proud national occasion, and expressed the company's pride in being Jordan's ambassador to the world, today by placing the logo of the 20th Accession and the Royal Crown on RJ’s fleet of aircraft.

He said that the gesture befits the national carrier, which has been playing a leading role in the service of the country ever since its establishment 55 years ago. RJ will continue to participate in various national events that all Jordanians cherish, added Pichler.
